Our verification framework helps buyers understand what has been reviewed, when it was reviewed, and what each status means. Verification reduces sourcing risk, but it does not replace product-specific due diligence, samples, contracts, inspections, or independent legal advice.
Verification Levels
1. Listed
The supplier has a profile in our directory. Basic company information has been provided, but ChinaSource Hub has not yet completed document or on-site verification. A Listed profile must never be presented as fully verified.
2. Document Checked
Core business documents and supplier identity details have been reviewed for consistency. Checks may include business registration, legal company name, registered address, operating contacts, business scope, and relevant certificates supplied by the company.
3. On-Site Verified
A factory visit or structured remote assessment has been completed. The review may cover the operating location, production lines, machinery, workforce, quality-control process, sample capability, warehouse conditions, and evidence that the supplier can produce the stated product category.
4. Performance Monitored
The supplier has completed qualifying work with ongoing performance records. Monitoring may include response quality, sampling, production milestones, inspection results, corrective actions, shipment coordination, and buyer feedback.

- Quality-control procedures and inspection records
- Certificates relevant to the supplier’s stated scope
- Export experience, samples, and production evidence where available
- Consistency of company, payment, and contact information
How Verification Is Displayed
Verified profiles should show the verification level, date completed, scope of the review, and next review date where applicable. A badge applies only to the company, location, product category, and evidence identified in that profile. It must not be interpreted as a guarantee covering every product, order, certificate, employee, subcontractor, or future performance.
Re-Verification and Status Changes
Verification information should be reviewed periodically and whenever material changes are reported. A status may be downgraded, suspended, or removed when documents expire, ownership or location changes, serious quality issues arise, information becomes inconsistent, or the supplier does not cooperate with a re-check.
Important Limitations
ChinaSource Hub’s verification is a risk-screening process, not a warranty, certification authority decision, financial guarantee, or promise of order performance. Buyers should approve samples, confirm specifications, verify required market certifications, use clear contracts, protect payments, and arrange product inspections appropriate to each order.
